Anna Elizabeth “Liz” (Perry) Parker

Anna Elizabeth “Liz” (Perry) Parker, 53, of Rushsylvania, passed away at 12:32 p.m. on Tuesday, December 5, 2017 at Mary Rutan Hospital. She was born in Logan County, Ohio on July 3, 1964 to Orville Junior and Linda Jane (Kramer) Perry, who survive in Rushsylvania.

She is also survived by her children, Jamie Figley and Jenna Parker; life partner, Kevin Wilgus; sister, Ramona Evans; niece and nephew, Chloe and Carter; special grandchildren, Kade, Hunter, Drake, Jax, Iliy, Bryton, Dixie, and Ryder; and a sea of friends and colleagues.

Liz was a 1982 graduate of Benjamin Logan High School. She worked for the Logan County Common Pleas Court for 11 years. Liz worked 6 years as a victim witness advocate for the Logan County Prosecutor’s Office, where she recently became certified. Liz was passionate about horses, barrel racing, rodeos, and bull rides. She embodied the definition of “a real cowgirl.” Liz loved her home and her “woods,” good music, and “barn time.”

Liz was humble, compassionate, hardworking, loyal, selfless, and generous. She was an “authentic” human being. Liz always greeted you with a smile and was kind to everyone she met. She was a dedicated daughter, mother, partner, and friend. Liz was devoted to her work with victims of domestic violence and worked tirelessly in her effort to support victims and witnesses. She was committed to doing all that was necessary to ensure the protection and safety of those entrusted in her care. She was well respected in her community and profession. Liz worked hard to accomplish her role as an advocate and she was proud of her work.

A celebration of life gathering with family and friends will take place Saturday, December 9, 2017 from 9am to 12 Noon at the Rushsylvania Church of Christ Grand Foyer, 170 Mill Street East, Rushsylvania. Burial will take place at a later date.

Memorial contributions may be made to Consolidated Care for New Directions, PO Box 817, West Liberty, Ohio 43357.

Funeral arrangements are in care of the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Bellefontaine and online condolences may be expressed to the family at www.edsfh.com.
