Due to the July 4th 2017 holiday, the Village of Quincy has changed the regular monthly meeting dates as follows for the months of July and August 2017. This will allow for the meetings to be held twice per month and not back to back during these months. The follow dates have been changed: July 4, 2017 to July 11, 2017 July 18, 2017 to July 25, 2017 August 1, 2017 to August 8, 2017 August 15, 2017 to August 22, 2017 Meetings will return to the first and third Tuesday of each month beginning September 5, 2017 and should continue throughout the remainder of the year. All meetings are held at 7:30 pm in Council Chambers located at 115 N. Miami Street in the Village of Quincy. There are also four Council Member positions that become vacant December 1, 2017. Anyone interested in filing for a Council seat should contact the Logan County Board of Elections for details of filing dates and election dates. The Mayors position will also be open for filling the remaining two years of a four year term due to the appointment of the current Mayor.
